12月19日，eclipse基金会发布了wtp（web tool project） 1.0版本。

　　wtp 1.0 defines a platform api for third-party commercial adoption and extension， and offers a new feature called "facets" which helps users to understand where they can deploy different features.

　　使用过wtp 0.7的用户都知道，wtp提供了几乎完整的web应用开发的工具支持，1.0版本赶在圣诞节前发布，虽然有点凑热闹的嫌疑，但毕竟也是一个包括了很多bug-fixing和enhancement的版本。

　　目前eclipse网站并没有提供相关的下载，可能需要再等几天才可以。

　　wtp 1.0是基于eclipse 3.1.1版本的，如果您的eclipse不是这个版本，可能会有不兼容问题。
